Alpha

Just downloading the Battlefield 3 Alpha test - did everyone else get sent a code too? I bought the BF2 add-on packs from their download service, so that might help. Or maybe having EA's Origin download system installed?

Most of us already ordered BF3 :) but there will be an open beta for everyone. However I didn't got anything yet. Can't wait for it :D :D

Origin software EA

you can with Origin software make a friend list ,almost the same as steam.

Alpha Test Server Browser

The Alpha test was quite short (over at the end of July), but tested a web browser-based server browser for the game that I'm sure had friend features in it too. It seemed quite good, and there were dedicated servers.

BATTLEFIELD 3 OPEN BETA

Early Access to the Beta starts today (I had a code for buying Medal of Honour).
It runs from September 27th - October 10th

The beta is open on the 29th - so we could all be playing it this weekend:
